your internet connection is OK. you check the connection everything look working. But, when on internet explorer keep telling you page not found check your connection or a similar message.

I assume that you dont have any problem with your ethernet cable or card  or your wireless card for a laptop. also you internet connection said connect local and internet. like the picture bellow.

 

 

So if everything is allright but the internet explorer can’t be connected you do the follow.

 

Open in internet explorer , you will get the page with this error page not found

click on Tools and go down to Internet option as seen in the picture bellow

by clicking on Internet options a new windows will open exact like the one bellow:

 

you will get a window like next picture:

 

 

Click on LAN Setting you get the windows bellow as pictured:

 

 

if the last icon that said “use a Proxy server for LAN…..”  shouldn’t be active  inactivate it and hit ok and hit apply.

 

Now you should connect to the internet. But if after few minutes you get the same problem or after you resyart your computer. you must clean your computer from any virus, rogue, malware use whatever software to clean your computer and fellow steps above.
